We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect to join one of our public sector clients based in Warsaw. You will help shape and guide the enterprise architecture across the organization, making sure technology supports the client's strategic goals in an international, multicultural environment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Establishing enterprise architecture processes and supporting projects with planning, risk and change management, and architectural compliance.
• You will design and communicate the enterprise architecture, maintain the architecture repository, and define interoperability between systems.
• The role includes gathering requirements, mapping business goals to system features, building transition roadmaps, and preparing documentation and presentations.
• You will also assess architecture maturity, analyse business processes and IS portfolios, and conduct cost/benefit analysis to identify improvement opportunities.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar Enterprise Architect role.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least one of the following certifications: Open Group Certified Architect (Open CA), Zachman Certified. Enterprise Architect, CISSP-ISSAP, ITIL v3 Master, or CCBA (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience building EA culture and practices in an organization.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise and business architecture design, value streams, and capability maps.
• Good knowledge of EA domains, maturity models, and frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or Azure Well-Architected.
• Proficiency with modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect or Aris Architect.
• Experience in the governance of the architecture function.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment.
• English C1 level certification.

Please notice that this role is only available for freelancing/self-employed candidates and it's onsite work in central Warsaw. The initial duration is expected to be 12 months, with possible prolongations.
