We're looking for a RedHat OpenShift Application Administrator to join a project with one of our public-sector clients in Warsaw and to own the lifecycle of applications running on OpenShift — from deployment and exposure to security, scaling, and day-to-day support. You'll partner closely with development teams to keep applications reliable, secure, and production-ready.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Deploying and maintaining containerized applications on OpenShift (Helm, templates, Operators).
  • Managing namespaces and projects — RBAC, quotas, limit ranges.
  • Configuring application exposure and routing (Routes, Services, TLS).
  • Implementing application security (SCCs, Pod Security, Network Policies, secrets).
  • Scaling and optimising applications, troubleshooting performance issues.
  • Supporting dev teams with pod troubleshooting, logs, rollbacks.
  • Monitoring application health and maintaining documentation/runbooks.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 7 years of relevant IT professional experience with at least 3 years in a similar position.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
  • RedHat Certified OpenShift Administrator or equivalent internationally recognized certification.
  • Strong knowledge of YAML, Helm charts, and OpenShift templates.
  • Experience with Routes, Services, Ingress, and TLS configuration.
  • Experience implementing Network Policies and Security Constraints.
  • Experience with monitoring/logging using OpenShift tools, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Hands-on experience with GitOps/ArgoCD and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
  • Scripting and automation skills in Ansible, Python, and Helm.
  • English at B2 level (CEFR) or higher.

Please notice that this role is only available for freelancing/self-employed candidates and it's onsite work in central Warsaw. The initial duration is expected to be 12 months, with possible prolongations.

If you find our proposal interesting and you meet the above requirements for the position, please don't hesitate to apply.

All applications will be treated strictly confidential.
